Sonia studied Film and Theatre at the University of Reading and she further part-time studied Scriptwriting and Documentary Filmmaking at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

​

She is a self-taught photographer and cinematographer. She started taking pictures when she was 16.

​

Sonia started working in films in 2006. She has worked as an assistant director and she was also briefly casting extras.

 

For the past few years, Sonia has been working as a Location Scout and a Location Manager in films.
